For this packaging prototype, we started with a transparent plastic bucket sourced from a local supplier. We integrated a custom basketball-style backboard and hoop mechanism that doubles as the lid. The backboard was crafted with gold metallic wrap material and gold chain purchased in the fashion district, paired with simple electronics to create a playful, interactive closure. The result is a functional, eye-catching container that turns opening the package into a mini slam-dunk experience.
